Here is a little information about me.
Sorry about the picture!! I thought it would be funny! People like people that are funny, particularly in sales (note there are times to be funny and times to not be funny - don't mix these up!)
This is me (I can hear you yawning and groaning) in the US on the shores of Lake Ontario . Great place - go there if you can! Now for the more boring part! For the last 15 years I have been involved primarily in selling telephone systems to businesses in the South East of England. This includes some quite demanding technical solutions including cabling of offices for the voice and data infrastructure, their telephone lines and call packages and so on (asleep yet?). Our company also sells Canon Copiers. Before that, I spent 9 years in corporate banking. Anyway, the bottom line is I deal with SHARP END SALES at the COAL FACE. I do not have a salary - I have been commission only for 15 years. I will continue to sell - I really enjoy it strangely. I am only offering to help fellow sales people as I think it is very worthwhile, particularly for people just starting out. I came from a non-sales background and landed a job selling after doing some travelling. I had no intentions of getting into sales but anyway I did! Sales can be very rewarding, both financially and personally. It can also be very difficult, particularly when things are not going so well (I have some great advice on this by the way so please sign up if you want to benefit from it). I am also one of those sad indviduals who love the internet so the reason why you are reading this is because the web site/page has been highly optimized.

 I have a lovely wife and 2 lovely children. I live in leafy Sussex and drink too much (hiccup) from time to time! I love football, music, science, nature, self improvement and alot more besides! I am like you probably. I love t he Qudos that comes with sales and being top salesman. It is a great feeling when people look up to you, ask your advice and try to emulate you. I am full of ideas, especially when it comes to sales and business development, sales strategies, especially web-based stuff! Yes - it is sad! But I'm good at sales. |
